The ABX Hand Control Module has five pushbuttons. Down and Up select the number of the trial. The A and B buttons make the components A or B play. Pressing X turns the selection of component to be active over to a memory in the Logic and Display Module that is been loaded at turn on with a random sequence. There is a memory location for each number from 00 to 99. The test is run by the listener pressing the A X and B buttons until he has satisfied himself he knows whether X is A or B. The listener then writes down the number from the display on the ABX Logic and Display Module and his selection and moves on to another number. Any number of trials can be made by the listener. A dozen or more makes for a fair test. |
